Believers help one another grow by:
- Teaching truth
- Encouraging faithfulness
- Praying for one another
- Bearing one another’s burdens
- Serving together
The church becomes a place where believers mature in Christ.
The Church Provides Encouragement
Life brings trials, struggles, and challenges.
God uses fellow believers to strengthen and encourage us.
Hebrews 10:24-25
“And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together… but exhorting one another.”
The church provides:
- Encouragement during difficult times
- Prayer support
- Spiritual accountability
- Fellowship with other believers
Isolation often weakens believers.
Biblical fellowship strengthens them.
The Church Is a Place of Service
Every believer has been given gifts to serve others.
1 Peter 4:10
“As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.”
Church is not merely a place to receive.
It is also a place to serve.
Believers serve through:
- Teaching
- Encouraging
- Praying
- Helping others
- Giving
- Hospitality
- Evangelism
