1. What is prayer?

Answer:

Prayer is communicating and fellowshipping with God.

2. Why do believers pray?

Answer:

To worship God, express dependence upon Him, seek His will, and grow in relationship with Him.

3. What does the Lord’s Prayer teach us?

Answer:

It teaches worship, submission, dependence, confession, forgiveness, and trust in God.

4. What is confession?

Answer:

Agreeing with God about our sin and seeking His cleansing.

5. What is intercessory prayer?

Answer:

Praying on behalf of other people.

6. Why can believers approach God confidently?

Answer:

Because Jesus Christ has provided access to God through His finished work.

7. What does it mean to pray without ceasing?

Answer:

To maintain continual fellowship and dependence upon God.

Life Application

Consider these questions:

  • Am I spending time in prayer each day?
  • Do I approach God as my Heavenly Father?
  • Am I praying for others regularly?
  • Is prayer becoming a natural part of my daily life?

Prayer is one of God’s greatest gifts to His children.

Through prayer we learn to trust Him, know Him, and walk closely with Him.
