Salvation Is Not by Works
Many people believe they can earn God’s acceptance through good deeds.
The Bible teaches otherwise.
No one can be saved by:
- Good works
- Religious rituals
- Church attendance
- Personal effort
- Moral achievements
Salvation is received by faith in Jesus Christ alone.
Good works are the result of salvation, not the cause of salvation.
What Must a Person Do to Be Saved?
The Bible calls people to respond to the gospel.
A person must:
- Recognize their sin
- Believe in Jesus Christ
- Trust His finished work on the cross
- Receive God’s gift of salvation
Salvation is not found in a church, a ceremony, or a religious system.
Salvation is found in a Person—Jesus Christ.
