4. What role does God’s Word play in spiritual growth?

God’s Word teaches, guides, nourishes, and strengthens believers.

5. Why is fellowship important?

Answer:
Fellowship provides encouragement, accountability, support, and opportunities for growth.

6. Is obedience the cause of salvation?

No. Salvation is by grace through faith. Obedience is the response of those who love Christ.

Because Christ calls His followers to be witnesses and help others hear the gospel.

Life Application

Consider these questions:

  • Am I spending time with God in prayer?
  • Am I regularly reading God’s Word?
  • Am I connected to a local church?
  • Am I growing in obedience to Christ?
  • Have I shared my faith with someone recently?

Spiritual growth is not measured by how long we have been Christians but by how faithfully we are walking with Christ today.

Looking Ahead

Session 8 — The Holy Spirit

The Helper, Comforter, and Guide

In the next session, we will learn about the Holy Spirit and His work in the life of every believer.

We will discover:

  • Who the Holy Spirit is
  • His role in salvation
  • How He helps believers grow
  • How He guides, teaches, and empowers God’s people
  • What it means to walk in the Spirit

As followers of Christ, we are not left to live the Christian life in our own strength. God has given us His Holy Spirit to dwell within us, transform us, and help us walk faithfully with Christ.

“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things…” (John 14:26)

The Christian life is not lived by human effort alone—it is lived through the power and presence of the Holy Spirit.
