Session 07 — Growing in Christ

Growing in Grace

Spiritual growth is ultimately God’s work in us.

2 Peter 3:18

“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”

Growth involves:

  • Knowing Christ better
  • Trusting Him more deeply
  • Following Him more faithfully

As believers walk with Christ, the Holy Spirit continues transforming them into His likeness.

A Healthy Pattern for Spiritual Growth

New believers should strive to develop these habits:

Daily

  • Pray
  • Read God’s Word
  • Thank God

Weekly

  • Attend church
  • Worship with other believers
  • Participate in fellowship

Regularly

  • Serve others
  • Share your faith
  • Continue learning God’s Word

These practices do not earn God’s favor.

They help believers grow in their relationship with Him.
