Why Humanity Needs a Savior
If all have sinned and sin separates us from God, then every person has the same problem.
No amount of:
- Good works
- Religious activities
- Moral behavior
- Personal effort
can remove sin.
Humanity needs a Savior because humanity cannot save itself.
This is why Jesus came.
The gospel begins with the reality that we are sinners in need of God’s grace.
Only Christ can do for us what we could never do for ourselves.
