Bring Your Hurt to God

You do not have to understand everything to surrender something.

You simply need to place it into God’s hands.

Again and again if necessary.

One prayer at a time.

One burden at a time.

One day at a time.

Heart Reflection

  • What burdens have you been carrying by yourself?
  • Why is it difficult for you to bring those hurts to God?
  • Are there fears, questions, or disappointments you have withheld from Him?
  • What would it look like to truly believe that God cares for you?

Prayer

Father, I confess that I often carry burdens You never intended me to bear alone.

I replay old wounds, wrestle with unanswered questions, and try to control what I cannot change.

Today, I choose to bring my hurt to You.

Thank You that You invite me to cast all my anxieties upon You because You care for me.

Help me trust Your heart when I do not understand Your ways. Teach me to surrender what I cannot carry and to rest in Your faithful love.

Hold what feels too heavy for me today.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

A Step Toward Freedom

Take a piece of paper and write down the burdens you have been carrying.

List them honestly:

  • fears,
  • disappointments,
  • anger,
  • unanswered ques

Then pray:

“Father, I place these burdens into Your hands because You care for me.”

If possible, fold the paper and place it inside your Bible as a reminder that what you have entrusted to God does not need to be carried alone.

Truth to Remember

You were never meant to carry your pain by yourself.

God invites you to place every burden into His hands because He cares deeply for you.
