Bring Your Hurt to God

Why?

Because He cares for you.

Not because you have prayed perfectly.

Not because your faith is flawless.

Not because you have already forgiven.

But because you matter to Him.

The God of heaven is not indifferent to your suffering.

He does not grow impatient when your healing feels slow.

He does not sigh when you bring Him the same burden again and again.

He cares.

Deeply.

Tenderly.

Completely.

Sometimes we hesitate to bring our pain to God because we think we should already be over it.

We imagine that mature faith means never struggling.

But the opposite is often true.

Faith says:

“Lord, I cannot carry this anymore.”

“I don’t know what to do with this hurt.”

“Please hold what I cannot hold.”

That kind of surrender is not weakness.

It is trust.

You may not be able to change what happened.

You may not receive the apology you hoped for.

You may never understand why certain events unfolded the way they did.

But you can bring your hurt to the God who cares.

And as you do, something beautiful begins to happen.

The burden becomes shared.

The loneliness begins to lessen.

The heart slowly discovers that it does not have to carry pain by itself.
