Learning to Trust Again

Trust rebuilt through wisdom is not weaker.

It is stronger.

There may still be moments when fear whispers:

Don’t risk loving again.

Don’t believe anyone.

Stay distant and stay safe.

But God gently invites you into another way.

“In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths.”

You do not have to know every step before taking the next one.

You simply need to know the One who walks beside you.

The Lord is able to guide you.

He can heal what was broken.

He can protect your heart without hardening it.

He can teach you how to trust again.

Not blindly.

Not recklessly.

But faithfully.

Perhaps today your greatest act of courage is not trusting another person.

Perhaps it is trusting God with your future.

And that trust becomes the foundation upon which every other step is built.

Heart Reflection

  • How has past hurt affected your ability to trust?
  • Have you struggled to trust God because of what happened?
  • What fears arise when you think about trusting again?
  • What would it look like to anchor your trust first in God’s character?
