He does not say:
“I thought you already dealt with this.”
Instead, He welcomes you again.
And again.
And again.
His mercies are new every morning.
Perhaps today you feel discouraged because you thought you had moved beyond this pain.
Please hear this:
The return of difficult emotions does not erase the sincerity of your earlier decision.
It simply means there is another opportunity to entrust your heart to God.
Do not confuse repetition with failure.
Every time you choose forgiveness, you weaken bitterness’s grip.
Every act of surrender creates more space for God’s peace.
Every return to grace becomes another step toward freedom.
You may need to forgive again.
And if you do, God’s grace will meet you there.
Again.
And again.
And again.
