Understanding the Passage
“Your Little Ones and Your Children”
The setting is Israel’s rebellion at Kadesh Barnea.
God commanded Israel to enter the Promised Land.
The adult generation refused to trust Him.
Because of their unbelief, judgment followed.
Yet God immediately makes a distinction concerning the children.
“Your little ones and your children…”
The children were not grouped with the rebellious adults.
God deliberately separated them.
