We are pleased to announce the upcoming release of the next book in the 12-book salvation series, Steps of Faith: A Journey to Salvation for All.

The Steps of Faith series grew out of Bible study lessons first written in 2014 and taught in 2016, later expanded and developed into this 12-book journey through the biblical message of salvation.

Saved by Mercy, Held by Grace explores one of the most tender and important questions surrounding salvation:

What happens to children who die before they are able to understand or respond to the gospel?

With biblical conviction, pastoral compassion, and theological humility, Dr. Ed Grefiel examines what Scripture reveals about original sin, moral accountability, God’s mercy, Christ’s finished work, and the salvation of infants, young children, and those with profound cognitive disabilities.

Written for grieving families, pastors, and believers seeking biblical clarity, this book offers strong grounds for hope without claiming more than Scripture reveals. It also includes guided reflections, prayers, pastoral counsel, and practical resources.

What a wonderful and meaningful day for Crossing to Life Press!

On August 16, 2026, we had the privilege of meeting readers, sharing our books, enjoying conversations about faith, and connecting with people in the community during our Book Signing Event in West Covina, California.

More than simply putting books into people’s hands, our desire is that every publication becomes a doorway to God’s Word—bringing biblical truth, hope, encouragement, assurance, forgiveness, and a deeper understanding of the salvation found in Jesus Christ. This reflects the heart of Crossing to Life Press: publishing Christ-centered resources that strengthen faith and point people to Christ.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who stopped by, shared a conversation, purchased a book, offered encouragement, or simply took time to learn more about the ministry. From this vision came, a growing collection of resources dedicated to presenting God’s plan of redemption with faithfulness, clarity, and grace.

We believe that salvation is at the heart of the gospel and the foundation of the Christian life.

From this foundation flow discipleship, prayer, worship, spiritual growth, and faithful service to God.
